tear

A story-driven puzzle platformer focusing on the struggles of anxiety. You must switch between playing two characters to solve the puzzles in order to progress through the game. This was my first game project outside of tutorials, so I wanted to keep the gameplay simple to implement and focus on the narrative. Although I have not completed it, I learned a lot from working on this project (working on a game from scratch, designing a narrative-driven game, gaining basic exposure to Autodesk Maya).

About

Izabela Tolentino

Game Developer

I am a recent graduate with a B.S. in Math-Computer Science and a passion for game development! I grew up playing a lot of Final Fantasy and Pokemon but have increased my repertoire over the years. My favorite genres are RPGs and stealth games, and I am building my skills to pursue a career in the game industry. In addition to playing games, I love to draw, watch anime, dance, swim, and browse through cute dog pictures during my free time.
